Maurice Sporting Goods (MSG) is a manufacturer and distributor of outdoor sporting goods including fishing and hunting gear. MSG's largest customers include Wal-Mart, The Sports Authority, Kmart, and Gart Sporting Goods. In order to effectively service these retail organizations, MSG rolled out a new hand-held computing device and proprietary software package to its field service organization. These units utilize a Windows CE operating system and a proprietary business application developed for MSG. The question arose early on: "How are we going to support our users in the field?"

MSG contracted for technical support services with Productivity Associates Inc. (PAI) in September 2001. Within the first 60 days of start-up PAI was able to work out the various kinks in the support process and since then has been an active partner in helping us maintain a stable operating environment. PAI has been extremely responsive to our needs and has achieved exceptionally high levels of resolution, very close to 100%! PAI has provided a consistently high quality service, and has become a strong partner in the success of this project for our organization. Our field reps are happy with the service and very productive which means our sales managers are free to manage, not take trouble calls.
