Productivity Associates has been providing their helpdesk services
to GensiaSicor Pharmaceuticals for the past 7 years. Roughly two years
ago I took over as head of the Information Technology department and
was tasked with reorganizing and preparing it for a global growth
initiative.
As I began to implement changes and improvements, I quickly realized
the value of PAI's service in our organization. Their service saves
me the costs of two or three people along with their associated overhead.
They provide extremely high service levels to my end users, which
has played a major role in improving the perception of the I/T department
here. I get constant reports on everything from the satisfaction of
my end users to which problems are having the biggest impact on the
company. And as a business partner, they provide a valuable consulting
role and have been far more flexible and responsive to the changes
I needed to make than other outsourcing companies I have worked with.
I inherited PAI's services when I took over the position with GensiaSicor
two years ago. If you had asked me at the time I would have told you
I was skeptical about outsourcing based on my past experiences. I
have never worked with an outside firm that gave me the same level
of care or paid as close attention to the details of my business as
